Biography

Philosophically, I am an Objectivist (I subscribe to Ayn Rand's philosophy). Professionally I am a computer programmer. My hobbies include jazz and classical music, water sports, and on the family front: Montessori and education of children (my son is 1-year old). That's the thing. They don't argue, they accept it on faith, because altruism is what they are taught since kindergarten, in all cartoons, movies, and in all interactions with people, and in school. This,...

It is not the uncertainty that is the reason for curiosity in a child. The curiosity arises from the fun in the experience of understanding the world. When a child (or an adult) understands something he...

If the government declares something as illegal (for instance, murder), yet someone does it anyway, then this perpetrator is prosecuted and penalized. The ability to do so (to enforce its own legal decree)...

The child was in fact sure that each case was a dog, until he was corrected. He never doubted that he was seeing a dog, because his mind has classified it as a dog. By the way, he wouldn't ask his parents....

What makes you think that under capitalism I would be able to pay off a judge ? In this case it would be illegal in both socialism and capitalism. But note: lobbying is legal in socialism. There is a big...

If you only go by "most likely" you don't really know any thing, and can have no convictions.

For instance, if you held that your knowledge is only 99% certain, then you can have to admit...

The overall point being that "government by bribes" is impossible by capitalism, that it is an always present feature of socialism.

Keynesianism is supported not because it works, but because it corresponds to morality of altruism to which everyone subscribes.

Globalization and socialism are opposites. Why do you say that Fabians are supporting globalization ? Doesn't globalization just mean "free trade across borders"?
"America is the greatest country on earth"

Yes, since you support laissez faire capitalism. I see social democracy as a higher stage of development since it can exist if there is enough wealth to support itself (which requires more wealth than...

Christianity wasn't what defined America. What defined it was the enterprising spirit, and desire for material success. It was the American dream. This is diametrical opposite to what Christianity wanted...

You can see from the capitalism debate my view that property is inherent in the nature of man. It is not a matter of society. Whatever man touches with his mind, is his. An analogy with different animals:...
What taxes should there be?
2017-02-05 10:52:24
A flat tax is us unfair as a progressive tax. A flat tax of 1% means that a person who is making $100k per year must pay a thousand dollars, and a man who makes $10,000 per year must pay only $100. But,...
What do people think of Islam in your country?
2017-02-05 10:47:00
The general view is that people are afraid to speak against Islam, because their country can't protect their right to free speech. If you are speaking against Islam, you are a signing a death wish.
