So today I learned that the English "Billion" is no more. We now all have to use the lame US Billion instead.
Stupid yanks and their stupid measurement systems that make no logical sense...

Our billion (the English billion) was always a million million. That was logical because you went 10 x 10 = 100; 100 x 100 = 1000; 1000 x 1000 = 1,000,000.
The yanks do the same, but then changed a billion to be a mere thousand million.
Today I found out that the UK has recently capitulated and adopted the american version.

100 x 100 = 1000
Oh. Sorry, I kind of lose you there. If 100 x 100 = 1000, then what's 10 x 100?

Haha sorry! You're right.
Oh well. In actual fact I think both systems were originally invented by the French and the yanks are actually using the older system. So maybe I should just shut up.

That makes no sense.
