admin: lol

I have a game in mind, but it has to have around 5 players, but I can probably make it work.

NightofTheLivingCats: Awesome. I've always thought role-playing type games would be interesting on forums like this.

2 people. That's nice.

The game I am thinking of is like KOTOR.

You control a single character in a post-apocalyptic Detriot.

There are a few stats and there is a limited number of points you can spend on these on the meantime.

VITALITY- How much health you have.
DEXERITY- Good hand motion, like tying knots, etc.
STRENGTH- Self explanatory.
INTELLIGENCE- Also self explanatory, but makes you be able to do certain things easier.
PERSUASION- If something arises with a NPC, that you meet, this might come in handy.

You have 25 points to spend. You could play this way or that way, but it would limit yourself from others ways, for a time being.

I think it is just the case that this site needs more popularity to become busy enough to get this really going.

Pinkie: I like post apocalyptic movies and books. My favourite bit is the time immediately afterwards. I also tend to prefer disease being the killer, ala, the stand, I am legend, but I also like nuclear fallout, ala, on the beach and the road. Shout out to, the quiet earth. Great movie, excellent ending.

Italics and proper use of capital letters would have made that last post much clearer.
Also, I'm calling it, The Quiet Earth is the best post apocalyptic movie.

nzlockie: I really enjoyed "I am Legend" and "Nuclear Fallout" also. "The Road" was also a really good movie.

I know how to run professional FATE games.
It is a less nerdy way to role play, outside the D&D system.

Pinkie: How did I miss this post?

PLEASE don't judge "I am Legend" by the Will Smith movie of the same name. It bares very little similarity to the book by Richard Mathesen and the single most important part, the whole reason why it's called, "I am Legend" was rewritten in the movie! The movie ending COMPLETELY destroys the whole premise of the book.

There have been at least three movie adaptions, all of them were flawed, but the Will Smith one was easily the worst for this reason.

The book is really short and is totally worth reading. It would rank in my top three books of all time.
