Debate Background

My first interest in debate sparked in 6th grade. I saw that people still believed that the earth was flat, and I wanted to give them facts about why they were wrong and disprove them so badly. Then I met one in 8th grade. He was a friends dad, and I debated him and did well. When I gave him the fact that boats go under the horizon the further they go, he got mad and called my father to pick me up, loosing the debate in my eyes. From then, I debated at least 100 of each corresponding category: Flat Earthers, Anti-Vaxxers, and Communists. I have also most likely had at least 300 debates that fall into the 'Other' category, which holds to many debate topics to mention. I am still an active and powerful debater, and I am willing to coach other people to become powerful debaters themselves.
