- an action or policy favoring those who tend to suffer from discrimination, especially in relation to employment or education; positive discrimination.
Framework: Affirmative action has often been called ''Reverse Discrimination'' for giving minorities special treatment which they have never worked hard for in their life. A few examples of this is giving minorities like for example Asians admissions to universities and occupations in businesses. Affirmative action seems to target the 50 years before when racism was a determining factor in receiving an occupation or not. In fact, if affirmative action was still in place, it would create a precisely color-blind society where being a minority gives you certain rights from the crowd.To make it short, it makes you a special snowflake. In addition to, it gives minorities a sense of worthlessness since they need affirmative action to flourish in society.
In conclusion, affirmative action only succeeds in creating a society where minorities are born with a silver spoon in their mouth and grants them with distinctive power over the group or majority. Affirmative action undermines minorities true hard-work and achievement and blinds the community into thinking solving discrimination is with discrimination.
