The internet has made a massive impact on everyone's lifes. But it is very damaging.
We don't talk face to face causing communication problems within young people:

"The gap between communication and interaction will grow, to the point that there will be no need for physical contact (on a social level). We will outgrow Facebook, e-mail, the Internet in its entirety. What will replace it, though? Who knows? Is this what we want? Is it where society should be going? These are not my decisions, though it is not what I want, and most definitely not where I want to see society going. We are destroying the qualities of being human through the pursuit of — ironically — being human."-http://www.collegiatetimes.com/opinion/technology-destroys-interpersonal-communication/article_9af9d508-244c-5cdf-9bbf-312152f682f4.html

It explains itself-we are turning into something not human.

Pornography and the way we view ourselves:
It has caused an negative impact on how body image is shown.
"People can become trapped in a vicious world. They anxiously await “likes” and feedback from others, then feel wounded and disappointed if the desired response is not forthcoming. They then feel even more distressed and anxious about their appearance."(https://www.google.com/amp/s/theconversation.com/amp/social-media-can-damage-body-image-heres-how-to-counteract-it-65717#ampshare=http://theconversation.com/social-media-can-damage-body-image-heres-how-to-counteract-it-65717)
Young children can easily get to pornography on the internet which can cause issues with the way they grow up and how they actually treat other people around them-this is the main reasons why some children grow up voliently.

Science shows it has a bad impact on the brain:
"We know for a fact computers are rewiring our brains. One study using brain imaging technology showed that receiving reminders for an event actually changed activity inside the brain"
"Today, people may be reading more than decades ago. But according to Maryanne Wolf, a developmental psychologist at Tufts University, we read differently. We skim, wanting immediate information but missing deeper context, varying interpretations, and some of the richer portions of the reading experience."

The internet is redoing our brains to work differently-which can cause us to miss it the importance of memory and thinking-it replace the part in our brain we need to memory as it's all at our finger tips on the internet
The internet is one main reasons for unemployment:
"Rather than generating more jobs, it is - as I will explain - a cause of unemployment. Rather than creating more competition, it has created immensely powerful new monopolists such as Google and Amazon in a winner-takes-all economy."(http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2962509/How-internet-destroying-pioneers-hoped-web-transform-society-devastating-new-book-says-way-diminishes-humanity.html)
Most people lose jobs as they are constantly on their phones during work hours and this is because people are so addicted to the internet and social media it has damaged the amount of people who are working and who aint-Even though the internet was actually meant to improve economy and business it only actually created a negative impact on how it is being used in the world.

Cyber bullying:
"Around half of teens have been the victims of cyber bullying"
"Over 25 percent of adolescents and teens have been bullied repeatedly through their cell phones or the Internet."
"Cyber bullying can be very damaging to adolescents and teens. It can lead to anxiety, depression, and even suicide. Also, once things are circulated on the Internet, they may never disappear, resurfacing at later times to renew the pain of cyber bullying."
People have found that using the internet is safer way to bully people which causes a damaging impact on society as it falls apart over social media- how can we let this happen??

"Rather than fostering an intellectual renaissance, the internet has created a selfie-centred culture of voyeurism and narcissism.

Far from making us happy, it is provoking and channelling an outpouring of anger at the world around us."(http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2962509/How-internet-destroying-pioneers-hoped-web-transform-society-devastating-new-book-says-way-diminishes-humanity.html)
