The question here is whether the taking of a person's life in the name of justice is justified. Of course, it is. The majority of countries all over the world recognize the basic truth that similar to the laws of the countries they live in, life comes with a set of moral rules. These laws grant us certain freedoms and privileges that we keep as long as we abide by our given laws. Once certain laws are broken you sign away your right to those freedoms. Often it takes more than murder to land you a death sentence which already shows a lack of respect for a human life. To commit a crime more cruel or heinous than that then there is no punishment left that is appropriate for a person like this.
