Nope7 (PRO)The problem is that we face problems today that are far different from what we used to deal with. Global warming for example is extremely hard to solve because of the way humans function. Long term problem. Wont effect us directly for a while. It will take efforts that will get in the way of much of are interests. This problems could harm us as a species. Trying to solve this problems is difficult because of the way we function. Rather then struggling to do anything we need to face the real problem. Humans did not evolve to deal with this problems. This is why we need genetic engineering.
