In a team debate, one team member needs to accept for each round of debating in that team debate (excluding reply rounds). For example, if each team does 3 rounds, then 3 members from each team need to accept.

All those team members who clicked "accept" are "involved" with that debate. Being involved means you can submit arguments and get notifications on the debate (though you can disable these in the same way as for other debates). Team members that will actually contribute to the debate should be involved - so for instance in a 3-round debate, all 3 team members who clicked "accept" should contribute in some way.
