the sex industry has ruined everyone is my guess
I don't exist - just my flesh!

Why is this so? Because men service themselves while watching porn that depicts penetration in positions that DO NOTHING for females. When they get with a female - even a female that they LOVE and one who excites them, they cannot maintain complete "rock" in the positions that give her the kind of stimulation that she desires. We shouldn't have to "perform" to excite a male to gain control over the kinds of positions that feel natural to us. It is self defeating to need to perform, and a turn off!

Thoughts?

JoMomma: By default when you view a notification by opening it up (clicking on your avatar) it dismisses the message automatically, so you don't get notified about the same thing again unless you view your notifications via your messages page. Could this be what's happening?

admin: no I just went to my messages page again to find your most recent reply. When I got to this page, the red #1 appeared, telling me about your recent reply, but a red #1 never appeared until I got here.

admin: good for you! It could ruin you if you do. My purpose for posting this was a warning, and to give a female perspective, of how it affects some of us. Plus I thought a risque OP could draw some dialog here that could carry over to other meaningful threads.

Because men service themselves while watching porn that depicts penetration

There is a misconception that only men watch porn.

From my experience, the more active members in pornographic communities tend to be women.

I see lots of couples and older single women making homemade stuff. The porn model is shifting towards regular people rather than porn companies.

]... in positions that DO NOTHING for females

Let's be clear.

Other sex positions besides missionary style existed long before porn.

We shouldn't have to "perform" to excite a male to gain control over the kinds of positions that feel natural to us.

I highly disagree with this.

There is an unfair expectation on guys to do most of the work during sex.

Eventually sexual relationships become boring, due to a lot of women having a conditioned mindset that sex should be lazy.

When they get with a female - even a female that they LOVE and one who excites them, they cannot maintain complete "rock" in the positions that give her the kind of stimulation that she desires.

You cannot generalize the sexual preferences for all women.

Women are just as diverse in their sexual preferences and fetishes then men.

admin: I feel that doesn't apply so much towards pornography.

Pornstars are incredibly varied, but few I would consider to look like supermodels.

You can look around and see videos of 250 Ib individuals and dwarfs with tens of thousands of views.

Okay, now here is my own little narrative.

Unlike most men, I can have an orgasm without pornography. I have tourettes, so it helps me fall asleep sometimes or relax when I get wound up. Just three minutes and I feel relaxed shortly after.

If I have lots of energy and spare time, then sometimes I will relax for about 45 minutes to 1 hour (I know, ridiculous) and consistently stimulate myself to pornography. I don't use lotion or anything, It just improves my mood and my confidence.

Basically if you don't get the picture, I use masturbation and pornography occasionally to help me deal with my stress.

The problem comes when you masturbate (or have sex) simply out of boredom, or worse off, when you are frustrated. That can be very dangerous.

Most sexual theory maintains that the main stimulant in sex is the concept of control, which is where dominant and submissive come from. When you masturbate (or have sex) out of boredom or frustration, you are indulging an inner desire to take control of something. The problem is that the control is not real, and once ejaculation occurs ( btw masters of the trade can have multiple orgasms) the feeling is gone.

This is damaging to the mind, and can form an unhealthy addiction.

Emotionally charged sex (or masturbation) can be dangerous in other ways though. That desire for control or being controlled, that comes about during sexual attraction, can make it difficult to sustain relationships. It can jade someone to become hateful and angry.

Sometimes it is better if ones sexual relationship is not intertwined with one's normative loving relationship. "Love sex" does occasionally happen, mostly at the beginning of relationships. It is something that cannot be forced or relied upon. Therefore it is a bad mindset to expect "love sex" during a committed relationship. Not saying it is bad, but just that it is not something that should be expected.

A healthy sexual relationship should be active and for practical reasons. Like relieving stress, trying to become pregnant, or just having fun (too many people don't know how to treat sex like a fun activity) .

Those are my beliefs anyways.

Crow: Maybe, but in debates it's relatively easy to claim these are exceptions for particular fetishes. What's your opponent going to do?

Well, it's a personal choice. If you want to enter prostitution, then good for you. The government really shouldn't have much of a say when two consenting adults do in a bedroom.
