Here are my opinions of the rules of conduct for leader reply rounds.
- Absolutely no new arguments
- No new arguments in the round before leader reply
- Should be primarily for summaries
Anyone want to add any other standards?
Blackflag:
This kind of conduct has been asked about and answered.
The end result was that anything was permissable, although certain Judges, (myself most definitely included) would frown upon new arguments being introduced when the opposition has little or no chance to address them.
I think that if you want to enforce these rules, they need to stated in the setup for a debate. Otherwise you have to just let it lie.

That doesn't mean we can't set a standard. Which is what I'm proposing. While judges are free to judge how they want, the community can frown on certain tactics.
