admin: I am not sure if you would have the same disagreement as him since you live in New Zealand. I don't think Americans understand ideology, dogmas(Communism, National Socialism), or democratic centralism since it is a two party system based on loose coalitions from around the country. The closest thing to such entities in the United States are far left Marxist-Leninist or Trotsykist parties who have never came to power anywhere in the US.

NOTE: Also I wanted to go back and do that Rome debate with you again(after our current debate) since we didn't finish last time if that would be acceptable to you.

Tophatdoc: Well alright fine. I just thought it looked like a really interesting topic. I would have approached it from the angle of reconciling political (fascist), social (nationalist) and economic (socialist) doctrine. Hard to prove the three are absolutely distinct but I'm sure they are.

But going back to the Rome debate would be sweet as well, I really was enjoying that.

The thing I like about this thread is that, after a light hearted, well-wishing opening, it quickly descended into an argument... Which is what TV teaches me thanksgiving is all about!
