Language Mistakes

I just saw this and thought to myself that there ought to be a thread for this kind of thing.

It's more of a punctuation mistake, but still legitimately funny.

sea_shell: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA

Punctuation mistakes fit in nicely here.

Reminds me of that thing that happens whenever people try to add quotation marks around a word for "emphasis", but it just winds up sending the opposite message unintentionally.

sea_shell: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHA

It needs a coma, even if it's a sign.

Pinkie: Classic. There are a few families I know who should display this sign outside their houses.

sea_shell: Sharpies are meant to deface those signs. Please, add a comma. Just kidding, don't do that.

Pinkie: There's a book, "Eats, Shoots & Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation" by Lynne Truss, that comes with some punctuation stickers included for people to add them into books or onto signs when needs arise.

sea_shell: Really? That's amazing! I'm gonna order one now. Just kidding.




They will give you hepatitis, just from seeing the sign you can know.

Pinkie: I remember what it was like when we were first able to print little pictures as a border like that. We all thought we were so flash.

nzlockie: That's insane! They look awful when printed in black and white (assuming they were created back when the world was still black and white).

Pinkie: Well they first came out on typewriters. You could print in colour but only if you used a colour ribbon. So that meant the whole thing was in colour.
I remember when they first came out on computers too. Coz I'm pretty old.

nzlockie: Type writers could write in color? That's new!

Pinkie: It's just ink. We used to have a cassette with ink soaked ribbon in it. You could have four or five different colours. But obviously not in the same cassette.
