Is the man from the Curiosity Shop the same person as the man from the Trading Post?

Thank you, Con, for accepting! Now for my arguments in favor of the proposition.

First, when the Curiosity Shop opens at night, the Trading Post is attended by a part‐time employee. If you (Link) wear the Stone Mask to make yourself invisible, you can sneak up and hear the employee saying, “We don't get many customers, so why does the boss have so much money?”[1] This clearly implies that the Trading Post owner (“the boss”) is getting money elsewhere, naturally from the Curiosity Shop.

Second, we must consider Kafei, an adult in the game who gets turned into a child. He’s in hiding; but, he did reveal himself to the man from the Curiosity Shop. Only the Curiosity Shop owner, then, should know that he’s now a child. If you ask the Trading Post owner if he knows where Kafei is, he first shouts, “Kafei!” but then, not wanting to give himself away, says, “No, I don't know any such kid. I kid you not!”[2] Wait! How does the Trading Post owner know Kafei’s a “kid”? Only the Curiosity Shop owner knows that.

Third—and most important—if an official source says that the man from the Curiosity Shop and the man from the Trading Post are one and the same, then obviously, they are one and the same. The Official Nintendo Player's Guide states: “Buy supplies at the 24-hour Trading Post. The manager looks just like the man at the Curiosity Shop, and it's no coincidence - they're the same person!”[3] This is an explicit statement from an official source that they are, in fact, “the same person!”

For these reasons, it is my conviction that the man from the Curiosity Shop and the man from the Trading Post are, in reality, one and the same. Thank you! I now turn the debate over to Con.

Cross-Examination
: Well, unfortunately, my opponent forfeited the last round. This is okay, though. (I've done it before myself on a different site.) One question I have for Con is, why do you deny that the Curiosity Shop guy is the Trading Post guy? What argument(s) convince(s) you?
: You only need to quickly jot them down. Nothing time-consuming.
: I have another question: Do you have any arguments that you think is stronger than a source from The Official Nintendo Player's Guide?

Well, I wouldn't want to be the Trading Post owner right now. I extend my arguments.

Thoughts thus far

The man runs a Trading Post at day and a Curiosity Shop at night. Why, you ask? Again, I extend all I've previously said.

Conclusion
Let us hear the all‐important conclusion of the matter—a conclusion about the man who runs the Trading Post from 6:00 AM–9:00 PM and runs the Curiosity Shop from 10:00 PM to dawn: Well, the conclusion is that the man who runs the Trading Post from 6:00 AM–9:00 PM also runs the Curiosity Shop from 10:00 PM to dawn! Votes, please?

(Don’t worry: Future debates of mine will be much more serious. I just needed to get a feel for Edeb8. I am however, disappointed about the unfortunate forfeiture. It could have been a much more interesting debate. If anyone wants to debate this topic forfeit-free, please contact me.)

Cross-Examination
: Here's my question: Why would there be a cross-examination right after the last round? Does the site expect one of us to get something during CX that would be a total game-changer or something? I mean, really.
: Lol!
: Um, who installed double posts on here?

@BioHazard Well, at least I'm getting used to how certain features work, right? I'm going to need someone to accept either this or some other debate.

Thanks for letting me know, though.

@Kilk1
Now we know who the person hiding is.
I have played it before but never specifically payed attention to these two individuals.

@BioHazard Have you played Majora's Mask before? If so, do you feel the two individuals under topic are separate people? If so (and if you don't feel it isn't serious enough or something), would you be willing to accept?

@BioHazard It makes for a good first debate, in order to get used to the formatting of Edeb8.

1) By "The man from the Curiosity Shop," I refer to the character from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask that runs the Curiosity Shop in Clock Town. 2) By "the man from the Trading Post," I refer to the one operating the Trading Post near the Curiosity Shop. 3) The burden of proof is shared. I must show the two individuals under consideration to be the same; Con must show them to be different. 4) The topic and these rules (including this one) will be based upon my interpretation of them.
